We visited the Daintree rainforest yesterday - amazing!! Cruised the
Daintree river and saw lots of saltwater crocodiles, including
hatchlings. Went for a rainforest hike and saw azure kingfisher,
snakes, frogs, Eastern tube nosed bat, cycads, tree ferns, palms,
enormous fig trees, vines, Ulysses butterflies, etc.
I can see why it is a World Heritage Site, it truly rivals the Great Barrier Reef, and that's saying something!
