Canberra

G'day!

Yesterday we arrived in Canberra, the capitol of Australia. Even though we have only stayed in Sydney, it wasn't too hard to see how different the two cities are. For one, Canberra lies farther south and is a little colder than Sydney. Canberra is also less touristy and has less attractions than Sydney.
Luckily, the people are still just as friendly when I have asked for directions which seems to be a running theme on my journey!
We mainly checked out the city on our own. Most of us went to the mall and went shopping at Supabarn the local grocery store. One thing I love about the different stores in Australia is that they are original and can't be found in the States, like Supabarn or other places to get food to eat.
Another  thing I noticed about Australia involves the cinema (movie theater back home!) A few of us went to buy tickets and the tickets had assigned seats. We also got to pick where we wanted to sit in the cinema (front or back). This may be a small difference but it's something unique!
Still loving Australia! Can't wait for more!

Well off to finish the night! Cheers!
Micah
